My Story
Nic Schirliu, Owner of American Classic Painters, Kirkland, WA. My full name is Nicolae, and I go by Nic. I got into painting through friends, and I've been at it for about ten years.
How I got into painting
I had some friends who were doing painting, and that was the only thing I knew to do. So that's how I got into painting. In 2016 we started American Classic Painters, so I've been at it for about ten years.
Building something of my own
Since then I've built a company of my own. It's family-owned and local, and it's not a franchise. Today our office sits next to Totem Lake in Kirkland, Washington, and we paint homes and properties across King County.
The people I work with
If you ask me why people should choose us, my answer is the people. We have amazing painters, a project manager and a sales manager, and we work together as one team. A great team is one that takes care of the customer, and that's what I care about most.
What I promise
My company stands behind every job with a 100% customer satisfaction guarantee. Our motto is "Deliver WOW through painting."
Beyond painting
I'm also the managing partner of Aniso Homes, a real estate company, a role I've held since December 2020. I earned a Certificate in Commercial Real Estate and Development and a Strategic Marketing Certificate, both from the University of Washington.
I'm a member of Bellevue Breakfast Rotary, and in 2023 I completed Rotary District 5030's RISE leadership program. My painting company is a supplier member of the Washington Multi-Family Housing Association, and you'll often find me at its events. You can also find me on LinkedIn.
